My Z06 is one of the first manufactured in its first year. It was featured in the April 2001 “Motor Trend” magazine, after it had been used as a “benchmark” vehicle by a famous testing organization. Another OEM had built a high-performance prototype car, and my Z06 was used for that benchmark testing. The only remaining features from the testing program are the harness bar and racing harnesses that were installed for the tests. I still have the original “Motor Trend” magazine featuring my car.
