While sitting at a Kroger store in a 2-door 1955 Chevy, a little old lady knocked on my window and said “I have one of these in my garage. Would you be interested in buying?” I thought this was dream come true. However, the 55 Chevy had been previously owned by a captain on a Great Lakes freighter and purchased to run errands when not on the ship. This lady had inherited from her friend. After being stored 20+ yrs the tires had dry rotted, frozen brakes lines, surface rust, etc…. get the picture….however, the interior was excellent and is still the same today.
22 yrs later…….and painted the original color
I am still the proud owner of this beautiful 1955 Chevy.
Did I mention it has just under 35,000 ACTUAL miles!
