Whether you’re a carnivore or an herbivore, burgers are pretty universal. You’ll find juicy, beefy burgers, turkey burgers, veggie burgers and anything in between on most any American-style bar or restaurant menu in Metro Detroit.
When you’re craving a burger and payday is not just around the corner, here’s where you’ll find some discounted burgers in southeast Michigan:
Craft Breww City of Farmington Hills offers BOGO Burger Monday all day long. The Pretzel Burger (with maple glazed bacon, cherry barbecue sauce and Cheddar cheese) and The Griswold (topped with grilled bratwurst, caramelized onion, queso, slaw and deviled egg) are both great options. Go for the Peanut Butter, Sriracha and Bacon Burger if you’re feeling more adventurous.
On Monday’s, Craft Breww City also offers free pool and shuffleboard (with an hour limit).
The Twisted Roosted, located in Belleville, has many tasty options on the menu, and on Wednesdays, Roo Burgers and fries are just $4.99. If you’re not craving beef, you can substitute grilled chicken or a portobello cap.
Basement Burger Bar, with locations in Canton and Farmington, does $3 Thursdays, which includes $3 off any 6-ounce beef burger with the purchase of a beverage when you dine-in.
Build your own, or choose from any of the all-star burgers on the menu, like the Hot Mama (topped with spicy ketchup, lettuce, jalapeños, tomato and Pepper Jack cheese), Avocado Burger (with guacamole, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, avocado and bacon) or Bacon Cheese Burger.
The Hideout of Clawson is a great place for hanging out and watching sports, as it boasts plenty of TVs, including a jumbo screen. On Thursdays, grab a half-pound burger and fries for just $4.99. The deal is offered from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
If you’re thirsty, well drinks are also on special for $2.00 on Thursdays.
Enjoy your burger, and savor that extra money in your pocket this week! Don’t forget a side of fries piled high with toppings, either.
