Trax Winter

As the weather is cooling down in Michigan and we head into winter, some people have one thing on their minds: winter sports. Whether you like to take on the slopes or would rather go cross-country skiing, there’s something special about being out in the snow and enjoying it the way you used to as a kid.

Too often, you hear people complain about the woes of winter, especially as it relates to driving. Driving in the winter snow doesn’t have to be a drag. In fact, with available all-wheel drive, heated seats, tons of cargo space and up to an EPA-estimated 31 MPG highway, Chevy Trax is a ticket to your personal winter wonderland.

Thanks to the ability to fold the rear seats all the way down, you can enjoy up to 48.4 cu. ft. of cargo space. Plus, when you fold down the front passenger seat too, you can fit items up to eight feet long. That means you’ll have space for your skis or snowboard, as well as the rest of your snow gear and clothes for a few days for those extended stays.

If you’re bringing a friend and don’t want to fold the front passenger seat down, there are some incredibly convenient accessories to consider, such as a roof-mounted ski carrier or a hitch-mounted wintersport carrier. These are great additions that will make your Trax even more versatile in the winter.

Now that the cargo is sorted, you’ll be happy to know you’ll be comfortable all the way to your destination. With available features, like remote start, heated seats and heated steering wheel, Trax will keep you as cozy as can be. As you’re getting ready for your winter excursion, just remotely start Trax using the keyfob or myChevrolet app. Climate control, defrosters, and heated seats and steering wheel will engage on their own. Once you’re ready to head out, your Trax will be a warm welcome from the bitter outdoors. And all it took was the press of a button.

Take on any road with available all-wheel drive and StabiliTrak on Chevy Trax.

Speaking of heat, heated outside mirrors on Trax will thaw any ice or snow right off, giving you a clear view of what’s behind you at any time. Pair that with the standard Rear Vision Camera, which displays a feed of what is behind your Trax while in reverse, and you’ll have added peace of mind knowing what is in your path. And if your rearview mirror isn’t showing you enough, activate the Rear Camera Mirror to see an even wider view of what’s behind you at all times.

Getting out of the driveway is one thing, but it’s the majority of the trip that you’ll be happy Trax is equipped with an available all-wheel drive system and StabiliTrak. All-wheel drive will improve Trax’s traction on snowy roads while StabiliTrak will detect when your vehicle is traveling in a direction other than your intended path and apply selective brake pressure to individual wheels to keep you on the right path. Just two more reasons Trax is equipped to meet winter head on.

Next time you’re heading out to hit the slopes, think about how Trax is the perfect partner to bring along. With plenty of cargo space for all your gear and a slew of safety and convenience features, this SUV proves that big things can come in small packages.
