The new year is nearly upon us, which means you might want to figure out how you are going to celebrate ringing in 2017. Lucky for you, the metro Detroit area has plenty of restaurants that will be celebrating the new year with dinner specials, drinks, and entertainment. Here are four restaurants in southeast Michigan that are offering exceptional NYE dinner options.
New Year’s Eve at The Whisky Parlor has all the makings of a great NYE party: dinner served throughout the night, live jazz until 11 p.m., DJ D Wynn and Bunny Hop starting at 11:30 p.m., a champagne toast at midnight, and a continental breakfast starting at 3 a.m. Make sure you make reservations in advance.
If you’re looking for good Cuban-themed food and drinks, look no further than Standby in downtown Detroit. The restaurant will sport a Tropicana theme for New Year’s and you can indulge in a Cuban-style dinner before the ball drops at midnight. The countdown to the new year starts at 10 p.m. and will go until 4 a.m.
Vertical Detroit will be celebrating the new year in fine dining style. You can select one of three five-course dinner options, or opt for the champagne and dessert choice. The ball drop will be streaming live throughout the restaurant. Make sure you make your reservations by December 28th or earlier as seats are limited.
If you are looking for a different way to celebrate the coming of 2017, look no further than B. Nektar Meadery’s New Year’s Eve party. Enjoy meads, ciders, and beers, as well as LazyBones Smokehouse food truck that will be on site. The fun starts at 2 p.m. and will feature special drinks throughout the day.
