Zingerman’s Cornman Farms Pie & Mash Pop-Up Shop (through 3/25)

Zingerman’s Cornman Farms will transform into a traditional English Pie & Mash Shop every Sunday in March. This upcoming Sunday will feature a bacon homity pie, March 18 will feature the burgundy beef pie, and March 25 will feature the chicken tikka masala. You can pre-order your pies to either take home or enjoy at their farmhouse tables.

Detroit Fleat Food Truck Faceoffs (4/7)

Every first Saturday of the month at the Detroit Fleat in Ferndale will feature two food trucks facing off in a cooking competition in which everyone hungry wins. Each month features a different theme and if you vote for the winning truck, you will have the chance to a win a great prize. Bacon Bash – Bacon & Brews Edition (4/7)

The Royal Oak Farmers Market will host the Bacon Bash 2018 – Bacon & Brews Edition on Saturday, April 7. Known as a “Bacon Bonanza,” the event will feature all things bacon from over 25 of metro Detroit’s favorite restaurants. VegFest (4/29)

A Michigan tradition for 19 years, VegFest 2018 returns to the Suburban Collection Showplace on Sunday, April 29. Along with local doctors and nutritionists speaking about the benefits of a plant-based diet, this year’s list of guest speakers include professional football player Theo Riddick, an athlete who uses his plant-based diet for more energy. The festival will also include plenty of great food options, shopping, and family-friendly activities. Buy your tickets early to save on admission!
