In 2017, this century-old event on Detroit’s waterfront desperately needed funding to continue racing. It is one of the Motor Cities longest standing sports events and we did not want to see a legacy event like this canceled. Therefore, we proudly made the investment to take on the role of title sponsor, and to keep Hydrofest afloat. To learn more, visit: http://detroitboatraces.com/
In partnership with the Detroit Free Press, we have developed a unique event series that helps support local restaurants while giving participants a memorable foodie experience. Each year, Freep’s food critic names the Top 10 Best New Restaurants. In an effort to promote these restaurants and give them a boost the year that is hardest on them, we host special VIP events at each of them.

Restaurants were one of the hardest hit industries through the pandemic. Many of them didn’t survive, and many that did are still struggling. Therefore, in 2020 we turned our Top 10 Takeover campaign into Top 10 Cares to Rescue Detroit Restaurants and Feed the Community. This was a donation drive in which the money raised went to 31 different Detroit restaurants. The restaurants then used this money to deliver healthy, locally sourced meals to frontline healthcare heroes, as well as to those in need in the community, through Forgotten Harvest. We raised $472,329 and delivered 23,616 meals.
We are the proud presenting sponsor of Dino Stroll at Canterbury Village, one of the most realistic, unique, and FUN walking tours into history. This is the only tour that lets you walk along, stand next to, and even touch some of the 75 life-like and life-size dinosaurs such as T-Rex, Velociraptor, and Stegosaurus! You can become a paleontologist and be able to explore and study skeletons, fossils, and dinosaur eggs, even while climbing inside of them for photo opportunities. This is also where we kick off our Pickups for Paws donation drive to benefit Dog Aide in which Dino Strollers can place pet products into the Silverado truck bed on display at the entrance.
Halloween at Canterbury Village is a blast with something for all ages and we are proud to be the presenting sponsor. There are two Halloween experiences here: The family friendly outdoor stroll where you pass through pumpkin trees, scarecrow row, dancing skeletons, the tunnel of fun, and more. There are game areas, trick-or-treating stations, and live Halloween characters. Then there is the Terror in the Village and the Haunted Castle. Both are for older guests to test their fears through these haunted experiences.
