Animated film Perfect Blue will be screened at The State Theatre in Ann Arbor on Wednesday, January 16 at 7 p.m. The screening comes as part of The State Theatre’s “Icons of Anime” film series. Perfect Blue tells the story of Mima, a pop idol that must save her career by pivoting from pop music to acting. Meanwhile, Mima is being stalked by an obsessed fan. The film will be presented in Japanese with English subtitles. Ticket prices are $10.50 for adults and $8.50 for students, seniors and veterans or active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
