The Detroit Institute of Arts presents their Sunday music bar with Scavenger Quartet on March 11, 2012. Scavenger Quartet was brought to life by composer and musician, Frank Pahl. This experimental and minimalist quartet showcases musicians Tim Holmes on tenor sax, double bassist Joel Peterson, drummer Doug Gourlay, and instruments that Pahl himself invented. There will be two performances by Scavenger Quartet, one at 1 pm and at 3 pm. The performances are free with admission to the museum, which is $8 for adults.
