The DIA has a display of clay jars made to look like animals from many ancient cultures. After you have had a chance to admire the amazing works, you get the opportunity to make your own treasure. In the art studio, you will have the chance to create you own animal jar using terra-cotta clay and colorful glazes. The workshop will be on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 1 pm until 3:30 pm. The class size is limited to 20, so get there early. The cost for members is $30 and for nonmembers is $37. The instructor will be Byron Nemela. For more information, please visit www.dia.org.
