On Saturday, March 19, head to Ann Arbor’s Pointless Brewery and Theatre for Laughing at Cancer, a fundraising event to raise money for cancer research. Tori Tomalia, co-founder of Pointless Brewery and a survivor of stage IV lung cancer, is celebrating her 40th birthday on the same day, and the show will include her telling stories about her experiences, along with the League of Pointless Improvisers performing. There will also be a special beer brewed exclusively for the event, and a silent auction.
There will be two shows, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tickets cost $40 for both, and all proceeds go to a research fund that studies ROS1 driven cancers at the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation.
