Head to the Detroit Institute of Arts to see a movie so touching and yet comedic at the same time that you will walk away with a changed view of friendship, love and family. Le Havre, a film directed by Aki Kaurismäki of Finland, tells the story of an aging shoe-shiner who creates a safe haven for an illegal immigrant all the while trying to get the boy to his family in London. The story is a touching one of friendship, calamity and tenderness that will move all that see it. Le Havre is 103 minutes and is in French and Finnish with English subtitles.  Tickets are $7.50 and show times are:
