The Detroit Institute of Arts will be hosting Robert Conway as he performs Morton Feldman’s monumental composition, Triadic Memories. The solo piano work will be played on the 30th anniversary of the American Premier performance. This is a rarely performed piece and is Morton’s longest piece for piano. There will be two performances on Friday, March 9, 2012. One will be at 7 pm and the other at 8:30 pm. This is a free concert with the price of admission to the museum, which is $8 for adults.
