The Ann Arbor Film Festival is back for its 49th year and will take place March 22-27, 2011 in downtown Ann Arbor. Founded in 1963, this is the longest-running independent and experimental film festival in North America.
The AAFF was started as a critical, alternative forum for artists and filmmakers to publicly display their work. This tradition continues but with focus being on of film, and has built a reputation as one of the nations premiere forums for independent and experimental filmmakers. The complete festival program will be announced March 1, 2011, with tickets on sale.
