Pennsylvania based installation artist Mark Dion is known for his work seamlessly tying natural history, art, and science together. Focusing on the ways dominant ideologies and public institutions mold the way we view history and everyday life, Dion’s work challenges the perception of our dominant culture.

Mark Dion has had major exhibitions at the Miami Art Museum, Museum of Modern Art, New York, Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Ridgefield, Connecticut and Tate Gallery, in London, England.
