Emerald Theatre

First opened in 1921, Emerald Theatre is Mount Clemens’ premiere destination for movies and live shows. It was originally known as the Macomb Theatre and was designed by C. Howard Crane, who designed the Fox Theatre in Detroit. Coming up at the Emerald Theatre you will find their Brew & View series. Watch a classic movie and enjoy a few drinks. Taking a queue from Mount Clemens’ nickname, Bath City Bistro is housed in a great space with plenty of seating, delicious food and even a few feather bowling lanes. When it comes to the menu, you’ll find a lot of traditional American fare. There are plenty of salads, appetizers, entrees, sandwiches and more to choose from.

Max & Ollie’s

Right next door to Bath City Bistro is a vintage boutique shop called Max & Ollie’s. You’ll find all sorts of knickknacks, clothing, tableware, artwork and more. As with most boutique shops, Max & Ollie’s inventory is always changing based on what the owners find and procure, which means it’s always worth a trip!

Michigan Transit Museum

Originally built for the Chicago, Detroit & Canada Grand Trunk Junction Railway, this train depot was restored to its 1900 appearance and turned into the Michigan Transit Museum in 1980. Now, every Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m., you can visit the Museum to learn about the railroad industry of the 19th and 20th centuries. There’s also a gift shop with great collectibles available for purchase.
