Are you looking for a fun way to bring in the New Year? While “fun” is a subjective word, I think the general consensus is that most Metro Detroiters like to attend a party on the last night of the year.
There are numerous New Year’s Eve parties held in the area every year, each of which offer a little something different. Whether you want to dance the night away or just have a good time with friends, grab your 2014 shaped glasses and get ready to ring in the New Year like never before.
Blackfinn, 530 S. Main St., Royal Oak, is hosting probably one of the coolest New Year’s Eve bashes around. The Great Gatsby-themed party costs only $30/person, and includes party favors, a $10 gift card, a champagne toast at midnight and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.
I know what you’re thinking: “Isn’t the whole ‘Great Gatsby’ thing played out?” The answer to your question is no. Is there any better way to ring in 2014 than by pretending you’re a part of the roaring twenties? I think not.
