From farm work to heavy lifting, the Chevy Silverado is built to tackle the toughest tasks with ease.
So far, we have toured some great public golf courses in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties. Fear not, golf fans, the series continues today with five options to consider in Washtenaw County. And away we go…
One of Ann Arbor’s premier public golf courses, Lake Forest offers a beauteous natural setting, great service and even a 5-acre practice facility. The Audubon-recognized course is links style, 170 acres, and a par-72. It features rolling terrains, fescue grasses and wide fairways on the front nine holes, while the back nine has both wetlands and woodlands.
The majestic Green Oaks Golf Course in Ypsilanti offers golfers large, undulated greens, many arbors and well-kept fairways. The course is 6,786 yards for golfers playing on the Men’s Back Tees, and 5,145 yards from the Women’s Front Tees. Additionally, Green Oaks offers a full line of accessories in its pro shop, including clubs, bags, shoes, apparel and more.
Located about eight miles west of Ann Arbor in Chelsea, Reddeman Farms offers golf outings, leagues, banquets, golf instruction and more. Formerly a working dairy farm, the layout has a country feel to it, complete with barns and a silo. The course itself is 18 holes and spans 6,526 yards, featuring rolling fairways and undulating greens. The course offers many challenges, including 13 holes with water hazards.

Stonebridge Golf Club of Ann Arbor offers an 18-hole championship golf course and driving range. Designed in 1991 by well-known golf course architect Arthur Hills, the course offers lush greens, well-groomed fairways and a layout featuring water and woods. If that isn’t enough, lessons are provided by PGA Class A Golf Professionals and it also offers several group event options, such as outings. It is also a gorgeous place for a wedding!
Located on the edge of Irish Hills, Rustic Golf Club is a top choice for golfing in Saline. It is a family-owned business that has been in the golf game for three generations. The 18-hole course is a par-72, and amasses 6,367 yards. The large greens make the course beginner-friendly; however, numerous obstacles pose plenty of challenges for experienced golfers. The property also offers great scenery with various rolling hills, and a 5,000-square foot clubhouse.
