Metro Detroit Restaurants Serve Up Thanksgiving Feasts

Thanksgiving Day, for many, is a time to stay home and cook mountains of food for family and friends, but let’s face it: not everyone likes to cook. That’s why many restaurants stay open on Thanksgiving Day, serving either traditional Thanksgiving dinners or their own unique spin on the holiday feast. Below are five metro Detroit restaurants open and serving Thanksgiving dinner on the 24th.

Toasted Oak

On Thanksgiving Day from 1-8 p.m., Toasted Oak in Novi will not only be serving their regular dinner menu, but also a $35 Thanksgiving dinner that consists of Michigan salad, butternut squash, turkey, candied yams, green beans and a pumpkin cheesecake for dessert.

Carlyle Grill

The Ann Arbor-based grill will host Thanksgiving Day Feast from 12-7 p.m., complete with hand-carved turkey and sides. Each meal will cost $25 per person ($15 for those 12 and under). For an additional charge, patrons may also enjoy a TR Natural NY Strip, Faroe Island Salmon or, at no additional charge, Harvest Stuffed Vegan Butternut Squash.

River Crab

In St. Clair, River Crab will have a Thanksgiving Day dinner from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Turkey, trimmings, carved roast beef & ham, parmesan tilapia, cream spinach, cajun mac n’ cheese and more will be served. Meals will cost $27.99 for adults and $16.99 for kids 12 and under. A carryout option will also be available.

Iridescence

Iridescence in Detroit is hosting a four-course Thanksgiving Day dinner from 3-7 p.m. at $65 per person. Each course comes with a choice of 2-3 options, with the third course options being a 28 Dry Aged New York Strip, King Ora Salmon or a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

D’Amato’s

Italian restaurant D’Amato’s in Royal Oak will be having a Thanksgiving Day dinner from 12-6 p.m., serving rolled pasta sheets stuffed with roasted turkey breast, focaccia stuffing and more. Meals will cost $29 for adults, $13 for kids and those five and under eat free.
