The spring and summer months are full of exciting new blockbusters flooding cineplexes, and what better way to celebrate that with some good old fashioned trivia? Quizzo and Geeks Who Drink are weekly trivia competitions where you can showcase your vast geek knowledge for the opportunity to win some awesome prizes. Quizzo takes place every Monday night at 8 p.m., while Geeks Who Drink happens every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Dust off your dancing shoes, or better yet your cowboy boots, and head down to the Diamondback Saloon in Belleville for some line dancing lessons. Get ready for the spring and summer months full of country music and dance by polishing up on your line dancing skills. Their free beginners class takes place on Saturday nights from 7 until 8 p.m. They also offer two-step classes beginning at 8 p.m. You can also attend their intermediate line dance class on Wednesday nights from 8 until 9 p.m. for $5. Ann Arbor will be home to two incredibly unique festivals next week with the FoolMoon and FestiFools happening on Friday, April 6 and Sunday, April 8, respectively. The zany celebrations will fill the streets of Ann Arbor with unorthodox creations, giant puppets, wild costumes, and everything in between. You are more than welcome to join in on the chaos, and enjoy the craziness for free by embracing this fun spring tradition. The whole family can experience a fun new way to craft Easter eggs at this weekend’s Drop-In Workshop: Decorative Eggs. You can use beads, baubles, and bling to make your Easter egg stand out just in time for the holiday! Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne county residents receive free general museum admission, which includes admission into this event. Disc golf is a fantastic way to enjoy the beautiful spring and summer weather southeast Michigan experiences, and after you’ve gotten everything you need to play, you can head to one of the many course in southeast Michigan.
