Michigan Renaissance Festival
Aug. 18- Sept. 30th 2018
Join this family friendly event and travel back in time to the 16th century in English Village at this annual festival. You can watch wizards cast spells and pirates sword fight while enjoying music, comedy and even fire juggling. Wear a costume and you’ll fit right in.
Arts, Beats & Eats

Come out and celebrate the 20th Annual festival full of great art, food, and music. With 200 performances scheduled to take place this year and music from blues to indie rock, there are tunes everyone is sure to enjoy. Festival goers can also enjoy paintings and the finest cuisine in the Metro Detroit area. Plus the kiddies can ride the rides and play games.
Detroit Jazz Festival

There is nowhere else you should be on Labor weekend other than the Annual Detroit Jazz Festival. Enjoy the soulful sounds of jazz from all over the world in the heart of Detroit at Hart Plaza. There will multiple stages with hundreds of jazz acts. h, and there will be fireworks! There will also be fun things for the kids to do such as face painting and educational music classes.

Art & Apples Festival
Sept. 7th -9th
For more than 50 years this festival has taken over Rochester Park. It is considered one of the top fine art fairs in the nation. Outside of fresh apples there are over 290 exhibits and artist from all over the country. This is also a family friendly event as there is a kids art zone to entertain the children.
The Wright Museum World Festival
Aug 17th- 19th
Housing over 35,000 artifacts, what better way to experience African American history than at the World Festival. Enjoy spoken word, live music, arts and crafts at one of the worlds largest museums sharing the African American experience.
