There’s nothing quite like the Woodward Dream Cruise. It’s filled with classic cars, performance cars, custom cars and more! Even if you’re not a car nut, you can look forward to all kinds of food and drinks from local restaurants, breweries and more. There are also plenty of things for the kids to do when they’re not enamored by that roaring Chevy Camaro that just drove by. So, clear your schedule, you’ve got a classic car show to attend!
As the home to the northern end of Woodward Avenue, the Pontiac Dream Cruise will be filled with things to do for everyone. On Thursday, August 15 at the Flagstar Strand Theatre, you can catch the BB King Blues Band, Claudette King and Michael Lee performing blues hits all night long. There will also be bourbon tasting on site. On August 16, you can check out the Pontiac Pit Stop Park, which will be filled with vendors from local bars, breweries and more. Finally, on August 17, during the Dream Cruise itself, there will be local food vendors, goods for sale, a kids’ play area, and more.

Returning for its seventh year, the Berkley CruiseFest will be taking place Friday and Saturday with fun for the whole family. Things kick off at 6 p.m. with a Kid’s Inflatable Zone, games, prizes, a food court and more. Then, at 6:30, the CruiseFest Classic Car Parade begins at 12 Mile Rd. Live entertainment will be provided by Denise Davis & The Motor City Sensations.
Birmingham Cruise Event
Taking place all day Saturday is the Birmingham Cruise Event & Classic Car Show. Check out live entertainment, official Woodward Dream Cruise Merchandise, broadcasts from local TV and radio stations, and more!
Located in the heart of the Woodward Dream Cruise, Royal Oak is sure to be bustling as engines are revving. Friday, August 16 will see the Performance Park Classic Car Show from 12-7 p.m. and Saturday, August 17 will include the “Cruise In Shoes” 5K Run/Walk at Shrine High School at 8 a.m. before the Classic Car Show kicks off for day two. There will be food, merchandise and a family zone at Performance Park so bring the kids and have a day!
The fun in Ferndale kicks off on Wednesday with the Rock’n Live Entertainment Stage and Kid’s Play Zone. On Thursday, you can enjoy the Classics & Cruis’n Legends Vehicle Show, featuring all kinds of restored classics and custom marvels. If you’re a fan of outdoor movies, you can catch a screening of The Goonies on Vester Street, between Woodward and Bermuda. On Friday, you can witness the Official Woodward Dream Cruise Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Clear your weekend plans. There’s going to be a lot to see and do!
