Becoming a pet owner is a lifetime commitment and, more often than not, the pet becomes an invaluable part of the family. Unfortunately, for every pet that is loved and cared for, there are many more that aren’t as lucky. They end up neglected, scared, sometimes abused, and oftentimes alone without anyone to care for them. Thankfully, there are several non-profit animal charities in metro Detroit that have made it their mission to rescue and care for these neglected animals. But they can’t operate without your help, and the need for supplies is never ending.
