The popularity of smaller sport utility vehicles (SUVs) is rapidly growing, and the 2017 Chevrolet Trax is one of the best-selling vehicles in the segment – and that is for good reason. One of the big draws to the Trax is its versatile cargo space, accommodating the needs of pretty much any lifestyle.

Whatever it is you need to lug around – musical instruments, art supplies, sporting equipment, etc. – the Trax can get it done for you. The flat-folding rear seats allow the cargo space to expand from 18.7 cubic feet to 48.4 cubic feet! In addition, the front passenger seat can also fold flat. Basically, this vehicle has all your needs covered.

Using contemporary design elements, the new design beautifully flows throughout the vehicle. An all-new front-end appearance and a new premium interior are the most eye-popping feature on the new Trax. The more sculpted and sporty, yet elegant, front-end includes a new dual port grille and sleeker headlamps. Available for the LT and Premier models are halogen projector headlamps, with LED signature lighting!

2017 Chevy TraxThe SUV comes with a standard four cylinder, 1.4-liter turbocharged ECOTEC engine, which offers an estimated 33 MPG on the highway. There is also an available all-wheel drive system, providing the vehicle with extra traction and control. The engine produces 138 horsepower.

The 2017 Chevy Trax offers enhanced connectivity features as well. There is a new seven-inch diagonal infotainment system, with a touch screen, designed to support the latest technologies. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, hands-free calling, 4G LTE Wi-Fi, maps and more are all available through these advanced technologies.

As with all Chevrolet products, safety is the top concern. The Trax is surely no slouch in this area, as it protects its drivers with next-level safety technology. Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Assist and Forward Collision Alert are all available, and are designed to warn you against potential dangers. In addition, the Trax comes with 10 standard airbags and available OnStar responsive features can be added. You’re in good hands!

This is just the tip of the iceberg. The Trax goes on sale in the fall, and will be offered in LS, LT, and new Premier trims. The SUV is perfect for city driving and will surely be a popular vehicle when it is released!
