It’s no secret that Chevrolet knows trucks. Just ask the award-winning Silverado. Not only does Chevy make incredible full-size trucks, it has also stepped up its midsize game. The 2015 Chevy Colorado plans to “reinvent” the way midsize trucks are perceived.

The 2015 Chevy Colorado differs from any other midsize truck in its class. It was truly developed with the mindset and DNA makeup of a full-size truck. The Colorado is expected to deliver class-leading horsepower, payload and trailering.

The technology in the newest version of the Colorado is simply unheard of. Not only is it equipped with Chevy MyLink, it also has a built-in 4G-LTE connection so you are always connected to the Internet. It is the first midsize truck to ever offer such features.

The built-in MyLink will be the newest generation of the technology. If you are unaware of what MyLink is, allow me to enlighten you. It includes an eight inch-diagonal color touch screen and provides connectivity to your smartphone via Bluetooth or USB. Navigation, voice command and hands-free calling and texting are just a few of the features at your fingertips.

Families are always on the go, and the Trailblazer combines safety, comfort and accessibility to fit your family's needs. Discover the available features that make Trailblazer an ideal family SUV.

Enough about the technology of it, you guys want to know about the actual vehicle, correct? This truck is the total package–a quiet cab, extreme comfort and plenty of room for storage. It is the first truck in its class to combine inlaid, triple-sealed doors and thick windshield and side glass, which all help to reduce noise. Cockpit-style gauges and large controls allow for simple, intuitive operation. The cab allows plenty of space for taller drivers and provides plenty of room to store your things in an organized fashion.

What about the bed? The Colorado has a unique design with an “adventurous” demeanor. Keeping up with its innovation, the 2015 Colorado provides a standard two-tier box system in the bed, which allows for an upper and lower storage area. The available Cargo Management System divides the box into modular sections for flexibility you’ve only dreamed of.

Let’s talk engine. It was engineered to achieve outstanding fuel economy. The Colorado gives you your choice of either a 2.5L 1-4 or 3.6L V6 engine. The very technology of it allows for it to boost fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance. Dual overhead camshafts balance out performance and efficiency, while Variable Valve Timing (VVT) helps boost torque and horsepower.

The 2.5L engine is estimated at 193 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. The 3.6L engine is estimated at 302 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. All models come with a six-speed automatic transmission. Auto grade braking and a tow/haul mode are some of the features that make hauling and trailering easier and more convenient for the user.

The 2015 Colorado won’t be on sale until the fall, but if you’ll be in the market for a midsize truck at that time, this would be the one to go with. The innovation and design behind this truck speaks for itself.
