From Friday, May 30 through Monday, June 30, the East Jefferson corridor downtown to Alter Road will be bustling with more activity than usual. The 10th Annual June on Jefferson kicked off a few days ago and runs through the end of June. The goal is to spotlight all East Jefferson neighborhoods, including Lafayette Park, Rivertown, The Villages, Marina District and Jefferson-Chalmers.
Events will be held in each neighborhood and include the following activities:

Outdoor mural paintings and more (Jefferson-Chalmers)
Saturday, June 14
Outdoor activities including Detroit City Futbol League tournament, canal kayak tours, live outdoor concert and more

June on Jefferson is presented by Jefferson East, Inc., an organization that aims to highlight the economic, cultural, historical and industrial offerings that the east Jefferson corridor possesses.
