Create unforgettable memories with the Chevy Traverse, the perfect SUV for family adventures.
Our Downtown Series started with Downtown Milford and continues today with Downtown Wyandotte. On a trip to see the Wyandotte fireworks one July night about five or six years ago, my friend referred to the city as the “Dirty Dot.” This was strictly for alliteration purposes as the city is anything but dirty! It is a beautiful place. Perhaps we shall refer to it as the “Dazzling Dot.”
We’re talking about restaurants, shops, local businesses, the Detroit River and more. So much to cover in so little time! Let’s get crackin’.
Where to Eat:
Angelina’s Mexican Restaurant, 3033 Biddle Ave., is for the Mexican food lover. I have not eaten here, but people who have say it is possibly the best Mexican food in Metro Detroit outside of Mexican Town. The salsas are homemade and Angelina’s serves everything from breakfast to dessert! Check out the great menu for this Downtown Wyandotte favorite. There is also an Allen Park location.
Create unforgettable memories with the Chevy Traverse, the perfect SUV for family adventures.
Portofino is located at 3455 Biddle Ave., right on the shores of the Detroit River, with a beautiful view of the Detroit skyline. This is for those of us who enjoy an Italian taste. Let’s be honest, we all enjoy Italian. Portofino has been open since 1980 and has docking amenities if you want to take your boat there! If this isn’t enough, you can even take a cruise aboard the Portofino Friendship. Here is the delicious menu.
Some other places to check out food wise: Coastal Thai, Frank’s Restaurant and Pizzeria and Lucky Dragon, to name a few.
Shop until you Drop:
