June 28 – July 2

The Huron-Clinton Metroparks hosts some of the best fireworks displays in Southeast Michigan. Willow Metropark, Kensington Metropark, and Stony Creek Metropark offer a perfect setting for picnics, outdoor activities, and enjoying the beauty of nature before the fireworks begin at dusk. “It’s one of Southeast Michigan’s favorite traditions: The Huron-Clinton Metroparks fireworks displays, and it brings together so much fun and excitement. Gather with family, friends, or neighbors – over picnics and under the stars – to enjoy this celebration of our American Independence. Enjoy the park amenities and entertainment before the fireworks at dusk,” shares Hilary Simmet, Interim Chief of Marketing and Communications. Stony Creek’s show is first on June 28th, with Willow’s on July 1st, and Kensington’s on July 2nd. Spend the day basking in the sun, out by the water, and finish it off with a spectacular show.
