Halloween may be over, but that does not mean the fun has to end. Today is Friday, the 13th day in November. Superstition says that Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day (at least since the 19th century), but perhaps this entire year is unlucky.

This is actually the third time in 2015 that the 13th of the month falls on a Friday, which is only the second time this century that has happened. Nonetheless, Haunted Attraction, Tarot Cards & More: It’s Friday the 13th!

Take a visit to the Terrorfied Forest in Pinckney. The haunted attraction closed its doors after Halloween, but has a special opening tonight to celebrate Friday the 13th. The 30-acre forest opens at 8 p.m. and closes at midnight. The walk, which spans more than one mile, provides about 40 minutes worth of screams!

Another option is the Friday the 13th Take-Over at The Ritz Detroit Bar and Grill in Warren. This party is more about good vibes on an otherwise eerie day. The event features live music from H.R. Rustica, Worst Case Scenario and others! There are also food specials, such as $0.50 chicken wings. It starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $12 at the door.

How do you make a truck your own? We're redefining what it means to drive a pickup. With luxurious comfort, a world-class entertainment system, and a 6-position Multi-Flex Tailgate, Silverado is the change you've been waiting for.

Speaking of music events, check out the Friday the 13th B-Side Band Showcase at the B-Side in Ann Arbor. The event starts at 7 p.m. and features local up-and-coming artists. The Beautiful Gorgeous, Max Pegasus and others are slated to perform. Tickets cost $10 at the door.

Earth Lore of Plymouth is the way to go if you’re looking to shop around for unique items on Friday the 13th. The store sells spiritual supplies and “unusual gifts,” such as crystals, incense and more. The store opened its doors in 1997 and has been referred to as “The Witch Store” and “The Hippie Store.”

If you want to get in touch with your spiritual side, a tarot card reading seems to be an appropriate Friday the 13th activity. The Boston Tea Room of Ferndale performs different levels of readings, including mini readings, standard readings, phone readings and more.

If you were looking for plans this Friday the 13th, look no further. Or maybe you have your own ideas in mind. Either way, try to stray away from anything illegal and be safe on this mischievous day!
