Canterbury Village Holiday Stroll Presented by the Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers

The Canterbury Village Holiday Stroll is presented by your Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers.

Have you heard about the Holiday Stroll at Canterbury Village in Lake Orion? It’s one of the biggest holiday events in Metro Detroit and your Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers are proud to sponsor this event in its inaugural year!

What To Do at the Holiday Stroll

Guests will stroll through a complete outdoor winter wonderland with almost a million festive lights, exciting displays, professional carolers, a seven-minute light show, Christmas performances, re-creations of favorite holiday scenes, live holiday characters featuring Frosty, Buddy The Elf, The Grinch, Olaf, Jack Frost, Anna, Elsa and more!

The stroll would not be complete without a visit with Santa Claus (socially distanced), along with free photos by professional photographers. In addition, Santa’s personal mailbox will be in place near the 43-ft. Christmas tree, where kids can drop off their letters to Santa.

Families are always on the go, and the Trailblazer combines safety, comfort and accessibility to fit your family's needs. Discover the available features that make Trailblazer an ideal family SUV.

Also near the Christmas tree will be a Chevy Silverado, ready to take donations of new, unwrapped toys for The Bottomless Toy Chest, a non-profit organization in Metro Detroit that works year round to bring joy to pediatric patients in local children’s hospitals. Donate a new, unwrapped toy while taking in the beauty of Canterbury Village and spread some holiday cheer during the Season of Giving.

If Santa wasn’t enough, the Chevy Detroit Wheels will also be around to take pictures with you. Meet Corey Vette, Petey Pickup, and Shelley Chevelle up close!

Holiday Stroll Food, Drink and Other Vendors

There will be hot cider from Yates Cider Mill, hot chocolate, s’mores, snacks and local food trucks selling food and drinks. For the adults, there is also beer, hard cider, wine and cocktails. You can also check out the Michigan Made Marketplace with approximately 60 local artists and vendors will be selling hand-made items, like jewelry, paintings, crafts and more.

Holiday Stroll Ticketing Info

A contactless ticketing system will be in place with all tickets available online and for advance purchase only. Limited capacity sessions will be offered with timed tickets available starting at 6 p.m. and taking place every half hour, through 10 p.m. Tickets for each “stroll” can be purchased online for $10. A parking fee of $5 is also required.

Holiday Stroll COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

Face coverings will be required for all guests and staff. If you do not bring a face covering, you may purchase one at the gate for $1. All guests will have their temperature checked upon arrival. While attending the event, it is asked that everyone maintains at least six feet of distance between themselves and anyone else not from their party.
