A classic in terms of the source material and an annual tradition at the Meadow Brook Theatre, A Christmas Carol returns on Friday, November 17, and has performances until December 24. This is the 41st year of the theater showcasing the classic holiday tale of a mean-spirited miser and the ghosts that haunt him. DISNEY’S FROZEN: THE MUSICAL

Frozen, the Tony-nominated Best Musical is touring, and with multiple shows at The Detroit Opera House, this is a must-see show this season. This stunning theatrical experience features songs everyone knows and loves, plus 12 new numbers written by the Oscar-winning film’s songwriters. For every Frozen fan, the powerful performances and spectacular sets and costumes will make this event a memory like no other.
On opening night, Broadway in Detroit is hosting Kids Night On Broadway, which is a great time to experience the show. CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE

For one weekend only, you can catch a Cirque Dreams Holidaze show for a Broadway-style musical with contemporary circus artists at The Fox Theatre. This show welcomes attendees of all ages, as the whimsical storytelling and dynamic choreography are enjoyable for all. Cirque Dreams has been on the entertainment scene for 30 years, and this group has only gotten better.
NUTCRACKER! MAGICAL CHRISTMAS BALLET

For the 2023 season, NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet will be returning to The Fox Theatre on December 10th. With three showtimes, this is a must-see experience. View the international cast and Ukrainian Principal Artists performing the peak of classical European Ballet for a favorite Christmas celebration. Local partner studios for the performances include Rhythm Po!nte Dance Academy and Performer’s Edge Dance Company with a cast of local Detroit children.
RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER

For fans of the Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer story, head over to The Fisher Theatre between December 15 and 16th to catch a performance. Beloved characters come to life in this show, from Santa and Mrs. Claus to Hermey the Elf, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice, and of course, Rudolph. With three showtimes throughout the weekend, spend an afternoon or evening immersed in the classic tale.
