Halloween officially falls on a Wednesday this year, but for the adult crowd, that means it is time to celebrate this weekend and do THE MONSTER MASH!

Since Trick-or-Treating isn’t on the itinerary, why not partake in a bar crawl?  Gather up your friends and get decked out as your favorite superhero, Sesame Street character, Jersey Shore character, or maybe even something naughty…….RAWR!

For those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to participate in a bar crawl, it is a blast in a glass!  It consists of a group of friends that go from bar to bar to have 1…2…or maybe even 3 drinks.  Once you have worn out your welcome at the bar (if you know what I mean) it is time to stumble on over to the next one.

Whether it’s a birthday celebration, office gathering, or bachelor party, it is sure to bring about some good times and memories.  However, it’s probably smart to plan on spending the following morning, and maybe even afternoon, on your couch.

The Silverado is the official sponsor of your next home improvement project.

Looking to make it even more exciting?  Come up with a specific theme for costumes!  Mario and Luigi?  Burt and Ernie?  Thing 1 and Thing 2?  For those of you who choose to show as much skin as a girl in a bikini on a hot summer day at the beach, maybe you should consider going as a member of the U.S. Olympic Swimming Team!

Want an exact plan for your Halloween bar crawl?  I got you covered for Saturday, the 27th.

First, head to downtown Plymouth and start the night off with a cold drink at Ironwood Grill, then head north down Main Street to Penniman Avenue and enjoy the atmosphere in Penn Grill and Bar.  You won’t need to walk far to get to The Rock Bar & Grill that is located just west of the Penn.  And if you aren’t too…dizzy…finish off the night by heading across the street to Sean O’Callaghans where they are hosting a Halloween party.  There will be prizes for best costume, best couple, scariest, funniest and many more!

At the end of the night when everyone has done their fair share of Monster Mashing and are now walking like the living dead, be sure to contact your safe ride home. If you don’t yet have a plan in place, check out the article, Designated Driver Services… Getting you and your car home safely, for available and affordable options in Metro Detroit.

If there’s something strange in your neighborhood, who ya gonna call?  GHOSTBUSTERS!  I AIN’T AFRAID OF NO GHOST!
