All-New 2016 Malibu Named Free Press Car of the Year

Following a successful year of awards for Chevrolet last year, 2016 is off to a great start! Earlier this week, the 2016 Chevy Malibu was named the Free Press Car of the Year.

The all-new 2016 Malibu is a midsize car with excellent safety and connectivity features. Available safety technologies include Low Speed Front Automatic Braking and Lane Keep Assist. The Malibu also offers 10 standard air bags, as well as OnStar Automatic Crash Response in the event of an emergency.

With an 8-inch diagonal screen, available Chevrolet MyLink is customizable and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Built in 4G LTE Wi-Fi connects up to seven different devices and ensures that you are always connected, even on the road.

The 2016 Malibu offers an estimated 37 MPG highway and a turbocharged 1.5L ECOTEC engine with fuel-saving technology, including Automatic Stop/Start. In addition to these impressive specs, the Malibu’s sporty exterior features aerodynamic sculpting and the sleek new look includes available LED daytime running lamps.
