Dining on a warm summer day next to a nice waterfront might be the quintessential way to enjoy a relaxing meal with your significant other, co-workers or friends. Who could say no to a nice view and a great meal?

A lot of people spend time walking the Detroit Riverfront because of the great views and, weather permitting, it’s a great excuse to get some sun. But, the Riverfront is also home to some fantastic restaurants with waterfront seating. Here are a few we think are worth checking out this summer!

Andiamo Detroit Riverfront

While Andiamo opened its first restaurant in 1989, it strived to deliver authentic Italian cuisine prepared from scratch daily. It continues to achieve that goal every day and Andiamo Detroit Riverfront presents the delectable northern Italian cuisine the Andiamo name has become known for right on Detroit’s Riverfront. Make a reservation here to enjoy great wine, great food and a romantic view.

Joe Muer Seafood

Also located on the Detroit Riverfront, Joe Muer Seafood offers up the same beautiful view of the city (and our Canadian neighbors in Windsor), but a menu of seafood that leaves little room for comparison. Since its inception in 1929, Joe Muer Seafood continues to deliver fresh seafood every day to its diners, never compromising on quality. While the dining service is definitely something to write home about, if the opportunity presents itself, enjoy fresh shucked oysters at the Raw Bar, a fine roll of sushi at the Sushi Bar or relax at the Piano Bar.

How do you make a truck your own? We're redefining what it means to drive a pickup. With luxurious comfort, a world-class entertainment system, and a 6-position Multi-Flex Tailgate, Silverado is the change you've been waiting for.

Sinbad’s Restaurant and Marina

Traveling further down the Detroit Riverfront, we come to Sinbad’s Restaurant and Marina. Sinbad’s has been in business for 67 years, serving up not only fresh seafood, but high quality Angus steaks, half-pound Angus burgers and homemade clam chowder. If you’re looking for a dining experience with a waterfront view that won’t break the bank, Sinbad’s is the perfect place to grab lunch or spend an evening with the people you care about most.
