Just in case you needed a reminder, Sweetest Day is this Saturday. That means you should probably make dinner plans ASAP. Don’t worry, we’re here for you! Here are four places in the area that are perfect for Sweetest Day, or any other day really.

Cliff Bell’s

If you are looking for some entertainment to go along with your food, look no further than Cliff Bell’s in Detroit. The establishment is known as one of the top jazz clubs in Detroit, and on Sweetest Day there will be performances from The Evan Mercer Trio and Sean Dobbins & The Modern Jazz Messengers starting at 6 p.m. The old school jazz club is also known for some fine dinner entrees and a wide range of speciality drinks.

Wright & Co.

Wright & Co. has some of the best contemporary American dishes around. From Maine Crab Toast, to Beef Carpaccio, to even the classic Sirloin Steak, Wright & Co. has plenty of great dinner choices. With Chocolate Torte, Butterscotch Pudding, and Seasonal Panna Cotta on the dessert menu, make sure you save room for some sweets on Sweetest Day.

Antietam

This French restaurant in downtown Detroit not only has a great cocktail selection and delicious entrees, but the atmosphere is very intimate. There’s plenty of choices for you and your date to choose from, including Pan Roasted Whitefish, Wild Alaskan Halibut, Dry Aged New York Strip, and Parsnip Apple Bisque. With the perfect setting and great dinner choices, Antietam might be a hot ticket for couples on Sweetest Day, so be sure to make reservations here.

Bacco Ristorante

Featuring delicious pasta dishes and an extensive wine list, Bacco is a fine choice for a romantic night out. Named the 2013 Restaurant of the Year by the Detroit Free Press, Bacco features high quality ingredients and simple, yet stunning, presentation with every dish. The menu is exquisite and can be washed down by some of these fine wines.
