You made dinner plans this coming weekend with someone special, or maybe even a group of someone specials. One problem, with restaurants trending toward walk-in only, you could very well be waiting for a table longer than your hunger pangs are willing to accept.

Luckily these five restaurants are not only fantastic choices, they also take reservations! Something to definitely keep in mind with Valentine’s Day just around the corner as well…

Mon Jin Lau

Named after husband and wife Jin & Mon Chin, Mon Jin Lau is now in its 48th year of serving Chinese cuisine to metro Detroiters. Ownership of the restaurant has been handed down for three generations of the Chin family and now rests with brothers Brandon and Bryan Chin. Mon Jin Lau has an extensive menu of appetizers, meat & seafood dishes and more. To make a reservation, call Mon Jin Lau at (248) 689-2332.

Roast

Opened in Detroit by Chef Michael Symon, Roast prides itself on serving prime cuts of meat, a wine and beer selection worthy of approbation and a happy hour to match. On its dinner menu, patrons will find appetizers, such as clams, chilled lobster and crispy veal sweetbreads. For main course offerings, Roast prepares a variety of hearty dishes, like spit-roasted suckling pig, pan-seared scallops and pork shank confit. Reservations can be made through Open Table or by calling (313) 961-2500.

From transporting food and goods to having enough room for pets and family, owning the right SUV is essential for pet owners. See the available features that make the Chevy Tahoe a pet lover's dream.
