Breakfast
Head to Southfield’s Donut Bar + Coffee, where you’ll find an assortment of unique and crazily topped doughnuts on the daily. If you’re lucky, these Peanut Butter Cup babies will not have run out yet by the time you get there.
Fountain Bistro, located in Detroit, serves up an excellent peanut butter option on its brunch menu. Start your day with Peanut Butter Banana pancakes or French toast, topped with peanut butter mousse, crispy pancetta, sliced bananas and cinnamon sugar.
Lunch/Dinner
The Wurst Bar of Ypsilanti is known for its gourmet brats and burgers, and will allow you to satisfy your burger and peanut butter craving in one meal. The Mr. Peanut burger is topped with aged Cheddar, bacon and homemade crunchy peanut butter.
Mudgie’s Deli, located in Detroit, makes some of Corktown’s best sandwiches. If you’re there with picky eaters, they will appreciate the housemade peanut butter sandwiches on the kid’s menu. Dessert
Grand Traverse Pie Company, with multiple locations, has so many varieties of pie, you could sample a new one each day of the month and not repeat yourself. To celebrate this month, try Barb’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream, a pie with flaky crust, a layer of chocolate cream, peanut butter cream, whipped topping and chocolate shavings.
