Keeping that fact in mind, I have done all the research for you and have compiled a list of places you can get drinks for cheap at, oftentimes $3 or less. You’re welcome. Rosie O’Grady’s
With three locations in the metro Detroit area, Rosie O’Grady’s boasts all kinds of drink specials and great happy hours. In Ferndale, you can enjoy $1.50 drafts on Mondays. The Chesterfield location offers $1 Miller Lites and $3 Sauza 901 shots weekly. Additionally, Southgate has $3 Smirnoff and $3 Power Hours from 9 p.m.to 12 a.m.on Thursdays. These are just a few of many deals.
Various happy hour specials take place throughout the week at each location as well, such as $2 domestic bottles and drafts and $2.50 house wine.
Jacoby’s German Biergarten
This Detroit favorite is full of German culture. Drink specials include $1 Miller High Life and Hamm’s on Mondays. On Thursdays, college students can enjoy $1 off draught and well drinks. On Sundays bloody marys are only $4. Other great deals include 20 percent off the entire bill for service industry workers (Tuesdays) and 20 percent off for the ladies (Thursdays).

Grand Tavern
I attend this Farmington Hills bar for trivia from time to time and there are constantly great specials here. You’ll find $2 domestic drafts and $3 premium drafts on Saturdays and Sundays. Come in on a Tuesday and enjoy happy hour prices all-day long. On Wednesdays, it’s $3 craft beer and bottles of wine are half-priced. Thursdays are two for the price of one with shots, as well as burgers. Let’s not forget $3 bombs on Fridays.

Detroit Pub
This sports bar, located in Clinton Township, offers $2 domestic bottles all day each Sunday, and the same deal can be found here on Monday nights. The bar has a wide selection of beers, several HD TVs, pool tables, darts and even a covered outdoor patio. There is also live entertainment here.
