There’s something about the holiday season that brings out the best in people. The cheerful smiles of passersby as they are shifting on to visit family and friends, carrying out their shopping excursions, or heading off for their morning commutes are likely brought on by one thing… the thought of capping off the night with a holiday cocktail.

With all of the delicious concoctions featuring seasonal appearances by eggnog, hot cocoa, spiced rum, peppermint schnapps and Irish cream (to name a few), who wouldn’t be jollier than old St. Nick himself?

Whether you’re planning a night out with friends at your local watering hole, or cozying up to the fireplace with a blanket and a classic holiday flick, test out one of these lovely additions to your holiday ambiance.

For the Sweet Tooth

Blazer at Grandma's

Wherever the road takes you, go in style. The Chevy Blazer offers the perfect blend of sophistication and versatility for your next journey.

Frosty Noggin – This delicious choice not only calls for eggnog and rum, but vanilla ice cream! Why not add this little gem to your Christmas calorie fest?

For the Traditionalist

Christmas White Russian – A festive take on the classic drink, the Christmas White Russian also includes the ever- popular eggnog. Combined with vodka and Kahlua, who can resist?

For the Shooter

Nuts ‘N Holly – Those of you “down the hatch” types will appreciate this interesting little concoction.  With equal parts of Drambuie, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Frangelico, and Amaretto, chances are more than one round of these will surely add to the merriment.

For the Peppermint Fanatic

Chocomint Toddy – This lovely recipe provides a sweet mix of warmth and minty delight for a snowy day!

Christmas Cookie – Is there really anything better than your favorite childhood after-school snack reintroducing itself in the form of a drink? Doubtful.

For the Experimental Type

Los Angeles – It was recently brought to my attention that I must try this interesting blend of sorts, but when I saw the “whole egg” on the ingredient list I admittedly got nervous. If you are gutsier than I, please give it a chance… according to fans, it will not disappoint!

Keepin’ it Local

Midnight Manhattan – While you are out and about celebrating the season, give serious consideration to making a stop at Roast to request this brilliant little combination from resident Bartender, Travis Fourmont, who is currently competing to become the Master of the Manhattan!

Remember, while enjoying your cocktails during the holidays, be sure to make smart decisions and avoid getting behind the wheel.

Cheers!
