As 2014 comes to a close, so does another terrific year for Chevrolet. The General Motors top-notch brand has won more industry awards than any of its competitors this year.
A plethora of awards highlights Chevrolet’s ever-evolving ingenuity and innovation. Such awards include the Equinox, Malibu and Spark all being named as the “Top Safety Pick” from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
The Silverado has a nice collection to show, earning the 2014 North American Truck of the Year, ranking first in J.D. Power’s “Highest Ranked Large Heavy Duty Pickup in Initial Quality” (for the second year in a row), and receiving the “Hottest Truck of the Year” award at the Specialty Equipment and Market Association (SEMA) Show.
The Silverado was also recognized by Vincentric as having the lowest total cost for ownership for full-sized pickup trucks for the fourth consecutive year. It is the most awarded pickup truck in the industry.
