Cooking for a crowd is no easy feat, and the pressure is on during the holidays. Perhaps you’d rather skip stressing in the kitchen all Christmas day and dine out after exchanging gifts. On the other hand, you may not celebrate Christmas and might want to know which restaurants are still open this Friday.

Here are a few to consider:

Tria

An upscale-casual restaurant located inside the Henry Hotel in Dearborn, the restaurant is serving an a la carte holiday dinner on Christmas Day. Opt for the Roasted Butternut Squash Soup or Winter Salad to start, then choose from a selection of entrees including Lake Trout, Roast Duck, Venison Swedish Meatballs, Maple Smoked Michigan Ham or Family Style Turkey Dinner.

The Holly Hotel

If a special Christmas Eve dinner is a custom for your family, perhaps the Holly Hotel’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas Traditional Dinner will fit the bill. Reservations are available from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the meal includes Herb Roasted Beef, Griddled Lamb Lollipops, Roasted Black Cod and more. The candlelit buffet is for Holly Hotel Dining Club Members and their guests only.

This is how you Traverse Michigan. With cutting edge technology, tons of cargo space, and advanced safety features, Chevy Traverse is your key to unlocking the mitten state.

River Crab

This succulent seafood restaurant located in St. Clair will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day. Treat yourself to Coldwater Lobster Tail, Maryland Style Crab Cakes, Cajun Chicken Tortellini or Surf and Turf. Reservations can be made online.

Wolfgang Puck Steak

If you find yourself downtown near MGM Grand Detroit, pop in for Christmas day dinner between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Having received a “Best of” Award of Excellence this year by Wine Spectator, it’s a great place for dinner, holiday or not. Menu entrees include The Puck Burger, Dry Aged New York Strip and Grilled Alaskan Salmon.

No matter where you find yourself dining on the holiday, have a very Merry Christmas!
