Colder weather and shorter days here in Michigan mean breaking out all necessary means of finding comfort. Cozy sweaters, comfy blankets, and a hearty helping of comfort food are some great ways to lean into the season and find joy and happiness. Comfort food looks a little different for everyone depending where you grew up and the flavors you find the most at home with. These Metro Detroit restaurants are serving up comfort foods from a variety of cuisines to help you beat your fall weather blues.

GIOVANNI’S RISTORANTE

Giovanni’s Ristorante is an old-world Italian restaurant and neighborhood favorite. LOUI’S PIZZA
