The Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix has returned for 2016! The event kicks off this weekend, beginning on Friday, June 3 and ending on Sunday, June 5. Your Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers are ecstatic to sponsor the Chevrolet Sports Car Classic, which takes place at 12:40 p.m. on Saturday. The race features 29 entries and lasts for 100 minutes. It is Round 5 of the 2016 IMSA WeatherTech Sportcar Championship.
The annual Dual in Detroit races, presented by Quicken Loans, are a staple of the Detroit Grand Prix. Some of the top drivers in the Verizon IndyCar Series will race through the 2.35-mile circuit to take home a win. The qualifying race takes place on Friday, with Dual I taking place on Saturday and Dual II on Saturday.
