Make every outing a tail-wagging adventure with the Chevy Silverado, offering you the perfect blend of comfort and capability.
In case you’re living under a rock and/or don’t have Internet access, the Tigers are in the World Series.
While watching sports and eating go hand in hand, heading to your local wing joint week after week can get pretty tiresome. Instead of frequenting a chain, why not mix it up a little and try something local?
Next time you’re heading out to watch the Tigers, try one of my personal favorites, Ironwood Grill, 840 W. Ann Arbor Trail, Plymouth.
Ironwood has plenty of TVs for your viewing pleasure, and they have great deals all week long. Sunday through Wednesday from 9 p.m. to close, they have $2.50 domestic pints, $3 imported pints and $4 selected cocktails. When you’re on a budget, nothing’s better than discounted booze, right?

Each day of the week offers something different: Monday is half off pizza night, and if you’re a fan of trivia, Wednesday and Sunday evenings are your nights to shine. There’s also a live DJ on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for those of you brave enough to drink and dance.
As for the menu, I have never had a bad meal there. The mango and avocado salsa, Cali Reuben and Ironwood wrap are delicious, and if my wallet (and stomach) could handle it, I would order them all at once.
If you’re looking to eat, drink, catch the game and then move elsewhere for the after party, Sean O’Callaghan’s, 821 Penniman Ave., Plymouth, is right around the corner.
On Thursdays, happy hour goes until close, so grab a $3 draft beer or a $4 glass of wine and kick back while you celebrate another Detroit sports team victory.
