New Year’s Eve at The Whisky Parlor has all the makings of a great NYE party: dinner served throughout the night, live jazz until 11 p.m., DJ D Wynn and Bunny Hop starting at 11:30 p.m., a champagne toast at midnight, and a continental breakfast starting at 3 a.m. Make sure you make reservations in advance.
If you’re looking for good Cuban-themed food and drinks, look no further than Standby in downtown Detroit. The restaurant will sport a Tropicana theme for New Year’s and you can indulge in a Cuban-style dinner before the ball drops at midnight. The countdown to the new year starts at 10 p.m. and will go until 4 a.m.
Vertical Detroit will be celebrating the new year in fine dining style. You can select one of three five-course dinner options, or opt for the champagne and dessert choice. The ball drop will be streaming live throughout the restaurant. Make sure you make your reservations by December 28th or earlier as seats are limited.
