If you love the Detroit Lions and the metro Detroit culinary scene, you’ll want to find yourself at Taste of the Lions on May 17 at 5 p.m. This is the fifth year in a row the event has taken place and it’s the perfect opportunity to bump elbows with Detroit Lions players, coaches and legends while getting a taste of Detroit-area food, wine and craft beer. There will also be live music and a silent auction.
Hosted at Signal Return and curated by Literary Detroit, Motor Signal Reading Series is a night of live poetry performed by Detroit-local poets. Not only will poets be reading their material, but also involving the audience in order to create something entirely new.
