Yum… coffee…
This is easily one of my first thoughts each morning as I get a whiff of the delicious aroma that is brewing in my kitchen. Now I will be the first to admit that I am no coffee connoisseur and if I am tired enough, I will drink just about any cup of joe I can get my hands on in the early hours of the day.
With that being said, my favorite coffee drinking moments are not spent in the car on my morning rush hour commute. Aside from my need for a jolt of energy before work, I prefer to spend my java drinking time in coffee shops for the simple, calming pleasure that they bring.
Apart from the delicious selection of beverages and accompanying pastries, there is something to be said about the ambiance of a cozy little cafe that can instantly put a smile of contentment on my face. Whether you are having your weekly meet-up with close friends, catching up with a blast from the past, or maybe just in need of a little “me” time, spending that time amongst all of the wonderful scents can surely put the mind at ease.
