The Lion King,  2/1- 2/26

The Broadway sensation The Lion King will be returning to the Detroit Opera House for nearly the whole month of February. Based on the hit Disney animated film, the stage musical has received almost universal acclaim and is the top-earning title in box-office history for stage productions.

Cabin Fever Film Festival, 2/4

The Cabin Film Festival in Tecumseh features the best unique, independent short films from top local filmmakers. The festival will include original short films along with popcorn and refreshments.

Dhamaal 2017: Detroit’s Bollywood-Fusion Dance Competition, 2/4

Dhamaal 2017 will showcase the best Bollywood-Fusion dancers in the area on February 4. The competition celebrates the combination of Bollywood film dance and Western fusion dance. The event will host 10 of the best Bollywood-Fusion Dance teams from across the nation.

Muttsquerade Mardi Gras Ball, 2/11

The first annual Muttsquerade Ball hosted by The Devoted Barn will take place at the Knights of Columbus Hall on February 11. The show will celebrate Mardi Gras and ticket prices include dinner, two drink tickets, dancing, raffles, and a silent auction.

Robocop the Musical, 2/19 – 3/6

Go Comedy! Improv Theater will bring back one of its most successful shows, “Robocop! The Musical,” to the City Theatre starting on February 19. The musical parody has enjoyed success since debuting in 2010. The show continues to grow every year.
