Do you know how to salsa? Do you wish you knew how to salsa? In either case, there are dance studios across metro Detroit that offer dance lessons for adults ranging from beginning to expert levels of experience. Here are a few dance studios we think are worth checking out for adult dance lessons.

The Dance Pavilion

One of the main attractions of attending classes at The Dance Pavilion in Ypsilanti is the premier ballroom that offers the much-needed space dancers require to really show off their hard work. Beginners and advanced dancers are welcome at The Dance Pavilion, which caters to a host of different dance styles, such as salsa, Brazilian zouk, hustle, bachata and nightclub two-step.

Arthur Murray Dance Studio

For those interested in exploring the world of dancing at no cost, Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Royal Oak has complimentary introductory lessons available. This introductory lesson is one-on-one with a dance instructor and will teach you the basic steps for several different dance styles. Additionally, your dance instructor will help you figure out what kind of dance program is right for you, should you choose to go further with your lessons.

Agora Arts

If you’re looking for something a little more “out of the box,” check out Agora Arts in Ferndale. Mixing yoga and circus classes, i.e. classes all about movement and aerial movement, Agora offers all of their classes to adults of varying levels of experience. So, if you’re new to the world of aerial movement, check out Agora during a single class drop in for $25 or check out the rest of their classes.

Adventure starts with a vehicle that’s up for anything. Trailblazer combines comfort you want, the versatility you need, and the technology to make every moment count.
