Just south of Nine Mile on Woodward Ave., you will find two popular local establishments just a stone’s throw away from each other, The Emory and the Woodward Avenue Brewers (WAB). The Emory has a distinguished feel and offers an exquisite menu with beer and wine pairings to match. The WAB has a more neighborhood bar feel to it with a wide selection of craft beer and a recently updated menu focusing on locally sourced ingredients.

As a way to continually meet the needs of their loyal guests, both establishments designed membership clubs to provide exclusive offers and discounts to those who join.

The Emory Wine Club members benefits include 50% off wine bottles, monthly pre-orders, complimentary seating for two at exclusive wine club tastings, and Monday night wine club specials. The membership is $45 per year.

The Emory Wine Club was [created] in response to our highly successful happy hour pricing. It really is just an extension of that, which gives the guest an option to go out with friends on any night of the week and share a few bottles of wine,” said Dustin Leslie, General Manager of Operations for both establishments.

Families are always on the go, and the Trailblazer combines safety, comfort and accessibility to fit your family's needs. Discover the available features that make Trailblazer an ideal family SUV.

The WAB Brewers Club was an idea that had been tossed around for years and with the recent hire of Brewmaster Chris Coburn, it was finally the right time to introduce it to guests. It has many benefits of its own, including a personalized 20 oz. mug, 20 oz. mugs at 16 oz. prices, $1 off speciality beers, $1 off guest taps, exclusive pre-release beer tastings, a founding member hotel key chain, and a free membership to the Emory Wine Club. Membership is $100 and only 100 founding memberships are available.

The WAB Brewers Club was designed to celebrate our 20 year anniversary,” said Leslie. “Woodward Avenue Brewers is built on the beer. There is simply not a better place to get fresh, locally-sourced, Michigan beers in the area.”

Next time you’re looking for a new club to join, trying to find the perfect gift for a friend, or just looking for a way to try out the best in beer and wine, keep the Emory and WAB memberships in mind.
